Immoblade: innovative solutions for seasonal energy efficiency
Since 2018, IMMOBLADE, an independent industrial SME based in Toulouse, has been innovating to reduce the carbon footprint of tertiary buildings. Founded by Xavier Sembély and Patrick Callec, two former Airbus Group employees, the company puts its expertise at the service of adapting the building sector to the challenges of global warming.
By developing simple and effective bioclimatic solar protection technologies, we help to reduce energy consumption linked to heating and air conditioning, while offering aesthetic and sustainable solutions.

MADE IN FRANCE
From idea to industrial production
The idea for Immoblade was born during a particularly hot summer, when Xavier was living in his bioclimatic house. The building, which met the latest standards, was very well insulated, but was rapidly becoming too hot due to the solar gain from the glazing. So he looked for a solution, inspired by the highly effective roof overhang for south-facing bay windows. As an engineer specializing in satellite systems, he was used to designing simple, reliable solutions, a necessity in the space sector where maintenance is impossible. The result is Immoblade, a fixed solar protection system that prevents buildings from overheating without the need for complex mechanisms.

Technological expertise for high-performance buildings
Our expertise is based on a unique mastery of bioclimatic technologies applied to buildings. Thanks to many years of research and innovation, we have designed solutions that optimize the thermal management of buildings while reducing their environmental impact.
Based on the sun's position, which varies between summer and winter, our passive solar control glazing regulates solar gain throughout the year.
Our results are tangible:
-
Indoor temperature reduction of up to 2.5°C in summer
-
Carbon footprint 15 times lower than alternative solutions
-
Lower energy consumption for air conditioning and heating
Protected by several patents in France and currently being extended internationally, our bioclimatic glazing systems can be easily integrated into both new-build and renovation projects, offering a durable, maintenance-free solution for optimizing the energy efficiency of buildings.

Our team of experts committed to the energy transition in the commercial sector
Immoblade relies on a team of 12 passionate experts, united by their mission to offer low-tech solutions to make the building sector more sustainable.
