SoliBlade is a high-performance reinforced double-glazing solution in which miniaturized aluminum blades are integrated into the argon space (90%). These blades act as solar protection and reflect the sun's rays.

A patented algorithm developed by IMMOBLADE and validated by the CSTB calculates the inclination of the blades for each individual project.

The solar protection system remains totally fixed and requires no maintenance or energy to operate.

Year-round performances

The inclination of the blades integrated into the double glazing blocks the sun in summer and lets it through in winter. The performance of SoliBlade double glazing is therefore variable.

IMMOBLADE provides you with a customized performance report calculated for each project, which can be integrated into a dynamic thermal simulation.

Several glass compositions available

SoliBlade is an ITR (reinforced thermal isolation) solar control glazing suitable for both new-build and renovation projects.

The fixed sunshade blades are placed in the argon space between the two layers of glass. To reinforce thermal protection, an low-emissivity coating is placed on the inside of the glazing.

Passive and seasonal solar protection Insulating glass units incorporating miniaturized, fixed aluminum blades in the argon layer. The inclination and configuration of the blades will be optimized by the manufacturer at the factory. They must provide passive solar shading with minimum performance requirements: variable solar factor (Sg): minimum value below 23% in summer and maximum value above 55% in winter. Glazing thermal coefficient (Ug): 1.1 W/m²K, vertical Integration into joinery, installation and processing must be identical to that of conventional insulating glass.  The manufacturer must provide proof of performance in the form of a personalized report.
